Cookie Policy
Effective: 15 June 2026 · Version 1.0
This Cookie Policy explains how the Gua website (feelragua.com) uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser local storage. It should be read with our Privacy Policy. We follow the consent requirements of the EU/UK ePrivacy rules and the GDPR: non-essential technologies load only after you opt in.
What these technologies are
“Cookies” are small files a website stores on your device. “Local storage” is a related browser mechanism that stores small values. Both let a site remember information between page loads or visits — for example, the cookie choice you made.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always active)
Required to operate the site and to honor your preferences. These cannot be switched off and do not track you across sites.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
gua_consent_v1 | Local storage | Remembers your cookie choice | Until cleared |
gua_pending_invite | Local storage | Temporarily holds a buddy invite code on the invite page | Until cleared |
Analytics (off until you opt in)
If enabled, privacy-friendly analytics would help us understand site usage so we can improve Gua. We currently load no analytics by default and use no advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. Should we add analytics, they will appear here and run only after you click “Accept analytics.”
Managing your choices
- Reopen the banner anytime with Cookie settings (also in the site footer).
- Clear cookies and local storage in your browser to reset your choice.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies globally; doing so may affect some site features.
The Gua apps
The Gua mobile applications do not use website cookies. They store the data needed to run on your device and in your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
